Thanks for your input, Advicer. You bring up an interesting point of discussion. I am inclined to disagree, however. In order for a relationship to thrive, that relationship needs to be a priority for both parties involved. Some individuals are not ready to give a relationship the effort it deserves--maybe they're focused on career or on self-improvement or personal issues--but this doesn't mean they don't want to still meet people and go out and flirt.

I believe that casual dating is a great option in this situation, and I believe in encouraging my readers to know what level of commitment they are ready to give so that when they begin dating, they can do so honestly. I'm not into sneakiness, either, which is why I encourage the "disclaimer" (which can be handled with a simple "I'm interested in keeping things casual; is that where you are?" in the initial email).

I also have to disagree with the conclusion that casual dating simply provides people with a sneaky way to back out of a relationship that goes sour. All the casual daters I have known are genuinely not looking for something serious . . . and they are masters at the honest and gentle break-up, as they have plenty of experience saying, "Sorry . . . I'm just not interested."

Thanks for reading.

No matter what you TELL someone, the fact that you are dating implies something more. I believe that the act of casual dating is simply put into place to allow people the freedom to easily and guiltlessly remove themselves from a situation.
Rather than recommend ways for people to be sneaky and “buck the system”, why not encourage your readers to learn a little bit? Have goals, determine early on if these goals are being met, and if not, have the strength to end it. Disclaimers and near legalese at the beginning of a date sounds a little to formulaic to be any fun.

Hi oluwaseun ola! I'm glad you found some encouragement in this post! The single life has it's rough days here and there, but so does the non-single life. I'm glad you're choosing to embrace the life you're living!

Hi Toottoxia, I don't know of any love spell websites, but there are a lot of great books on the subject. Try visiting your local library and ask the reference librarian to help you find some.

Hello folks,

I am looking for a good love spells web site, I know this sounds weird or funny, but I'm desperate. Please, no jokes.
Would anyone recommend a trustworthy website?

Thanks :(

I'm glad eHarmony has been treating you well, Jaime! When I first tried online dating, I was grateful to finally have a profile to review when deciding whether or not someone might be a good match for me. It takes so much time to learn a lot of those details from someone you just met at a club.

I agree with the part of your article that says online dating saves precious time.I think all single people who are ready for a relationship should give online dating a try. I have been using eHarmony for about a month now and really like it.
